1973

From a Humble Workshop to a Giant Brand

Kolsan was founded in 1973 as a frame workshop in Merdivenköy Çömlekçi Çukuru, operating in an area of approximately 100 m². At that time, the company focused mainly on retail and custom-made furniture, gradually establishing its place in the industry.

1983

A Big Step: Moving to Modoko

Ten years after its founding, in 1983, Kolsan moved to a larger workshop in Modoko. Here, the company continued specializing in custom-made furniture and kept building its strong reputation in the industry.

2000

Transition to Hotel Projects

By the year 2000, Kolsan had started taking on major custom projects for hotel furniture. The company became specialized in both fixed and loose furnishings for five-star hotels, establishing a solid presence in the sector by offering comprehensive solutions for hotel projects.

Early 2000s: New Facility in Cevizli

As Kolsan began focusing on large-scale hotel projects, growing demand led the company to move to a larger production facility in Cevizli in the early 2000s. Here, Kolsan expanded its manufacturing capacity and started handling even more ambitious projects.

2013

12,000 m² Factory and a Fully Project-Based Approach

In 2013, Kolsan moved to its new factory, built on 12,000 square meters of land. This major investment allowed the company to focus exclusively on large-scale, project-based work, further cementing its leadership in the sector. With its expanded capacity, Kolsan has successfully delivered custom-designed fixed and loose furniture for over 1,000 five-star hotel projects both in Turkey and abroad.

2020

Store Opening in Canada

In 2020, Kolsan took a significant step towards international growth by opening a store in Canada, further strengthening its presence in the global market.

2024

Globalization

2024 marked a year of major international expansion for Kolsan:

New stores were opened in Georgia and Kozyatağı.

New ventures were launched in Saudi Arabia and Romania.

With these steps, Kolsan became even more recognized abroad and continued its steady progress towards becoming a major player on the global stage.

2025+

Today and the Future

Today, Kolsan produces custom furniture for hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, cafés, offices, and residential projects in its 12,000 m² open and 8,500 m² closed production facilities, with a team of 100 architects and production specialists. The company also showcases its products at the 2,000 m² Kolsan Export store.

With a strong focus on quality, durability, and ergonomics, Kolsan has become a leading name in the industry. Looking ahead, Kolsan remains committed to international growth and will continue to make its mark around the world.

Since 1973, KOLSAN has been operating in the furniture industry and today serves as a solution partner for hotel, shopping mall, restaurant, café, office, and residential projects. With 12,000 m² of production space 8,500 m² of which is enclosed and a team of 150 professionals, we provide project-specific manufacturing services.

With over 50 years of experience, extensive production capacity, and a specialized team, we deliver comprehensive solutions for hotel furniture, fixed and loose furniture, and bespoke Project based manufacturing. Additionally, we offer FF&E production and implementation services for international hotel projects.
More than just a supplier, we are a team that brings our clients’ designs to life, prioritizing quality, durability, aesthetics, and customer satisfaction. Having contributed to more than 1,000 hotel projects to date, we have established a strong position in the hotel furniture sector and have become a trusted and preferred brand.

As part of our international growth vision, we began our global expansion with our store in Canada and continue to strengthen our presence with initiatives in Georgia, Romania, and Saudi Arabia. We also support our growth in Türkiye through our new Sales and Marketing Office, known as KOLSAN EXPORT in Kozyatağı/İSTANBUL
