Part of New York’s Manhattan West development project, Pendry Manhattan West is an ultra-contemporary property born from Hudson Yards’ dynamic redevelopment process that has become one of the city’s most talked-about lifestyle hotels. Pendry — the young and bold brand of Montage Hotels & Resorts — has managed to attract New York’s creative and selective guest demographic with the artistic spirit and deep local culture commitment it brings to each of its properties. For this special project, Kolsan developed solutions that translated New York’s creative energy and Pendry’s distinctive identity into the language of furniture.

Within the scope of the project, custom-designed furniture and seating solutions were produced for the hotel’s guest rooms, suite floors, lobby, and various social spaces. In this hotel that offers a panoramic view of the city with its Hudson River-facing position, a collection reflecting Pendry’s aesthetic personality was created by bringing together graphic forms, deep colors, hand-woven textile accessories, and artistic metal details. Every furniture piece was designed to simultaneously meet both a luxury hotel guest’s expectations and a New York art collector’s discerning taste.
