Konak Hotel is a boutique accommodation property in the Ulus district of Bartin, a province in the western Black Sea region of Turkey celebrated for its lush natural landscapes and traditional timber architecture. Kolsan developed furniture solutions that bring the warmth and natural character of the Black Sea region into the interior, using timber textures and warm tones that feel organically at home in this green and forested setting. Guest rooms, the lobby and restaurant areas were all furnished as part of a cohesive programme that respects the local architectural heritage while providing contemporary comfort. This project reflects Kolsan s broad geographic reach and its sensitivity in designing furniture that responds to the character of each unique location.
